Paris, France, June 5, 2024 – The Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI) is pleased to announce its 2024 European Forum, “A Transatlantic Dialogue,” taking place today, Wednesday, June 5th, from 9:45 am to 5:30 pm CEST at Microsoft’s offices in Paris.
This event will bring together key government leaders and regulators working to advance online safety, to discuss international regulatory developments. We will feature a series of insightful panels, fireside chats, and networking opportunities, aiming to foster a comprehensive understanding of the current landscape and future directions of online safety across the globe.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in dynamic discussions and panel sessions throughout the day featuring some of the foremost experts in the field:
Additionally, the event will include a featured fireside chat entitled, "Lessons from a Facebook Whistleblower," in which Arturo Béjar, the former Director of Engineering at Facebook, will share his experiences working at big tech and discuss what the industry can do better to prioritize the well-being of teens online.
The FOSI 2024 European Forum promises to provide valuable insights, promote informed collaboration, and foster meaningful dialogue among stakeholders dedicated to improving online safety across sectors and borders.
