WASHINGTON, DC - The Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI) applauds AT&T’s announced efforts to protect America’s families by reversing the dangerous trend of texting while driving through its “No Text on Board – Pledge Day.”
FOSI is committed to promoting responsibility online and a sense of digital citizenship. With today’s announcement of the September 19th “No Text On Board – Pledge Day,” when all Americans will be asked to pledge to not text and drive, AT&T is taking an impressive and critical step toward these accomplishing these same goals. We applaud AT&T’s efforts to encourage the safe and responsible use of technology while behind the wheel.
FOSI looks forward to following the progress of AT&T’s initiative and the important impact it will have, especially when it comes to encouraging people to use technology responsibly while embracing a sense of digital citizenship.
