Dr. Allison Fine Mishkin

Head of Child Development, OpenAI

Dr. Allison Fine Mishkin leads youth policy at OpenAI, where she works to ensure that AI tools are safe, beneficial, and developmentally appropriate for young people. She received her PhD from the University of Oxford in Technology and Child Development, with a focus on teenagers’ technology use and well-being. Allison has published on digital parenting, children’s play, and education and has worked with organizations including Sesame Workshop, Nickelodeon, and UNICEF. Most recently, she led the Kids & Families product policy team at Google, developing safety frameworks and product policies for emerging technologies, including AI.
