Joshita Manohar

Senior Digital Safety Research Associate, Family Online Safety Institute

Joshita Manohar is the Senior Digital Safety Research Associate at the Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI), where she supports research on children’s online safety, digital wellbeing, responsible AI, emerging technologies, and the experiences of young people and families in digital spaces.
Joshita’s research experience spans children’s media, technology, play, and learning, including work with Duolingo, Mattel’s Fisher-Price Play Lab, PBS KIDS, and the NYU CREATE Lab. Her work focuses on understanding how children and families engage with digital products, media, and emerging technologies and translating those insights into more thoughtful, age-appropriate experiences.
Joshita holds an M.A. in Learning Technology and Experience Design from New York University and a B.A. in Psychology from Boston University.
