MaryKate Boggan

European Digital Safety Policy Fellow, Family Online Safety Institute

MaryKate Boggan is the European Digital Safety Policy Fellow at the Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI). She is currently pursuing her PhD in Children and Youth Studies at University College Dublin. MaryKate’s work focuses on youth online participation and identity formation. She is the recipient of an Ad Astra Scholarship in Critical EdTech Studies. Within FOSI, MaryKate contributes to policy analysis and stakeholder engagement related to online safety, children’s rights, and digital education. MaryKate holds an MSc in Education, Children, and Youth at University College Dublin and a BA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
