Bertram Lee was Senior Policy Counsel, Data, Decision Making, and Artificial Intelligence at the Future of Privacy Forum, where he provided legal and policy analysis related to AI and automated decision system issues and applicable regulatory considerations. Previously, Bertram was Counsel for Media and Tech at the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights where he worked to advance the interests of marginalized communities in technology and media policy. Bertram worked as Policy Counsel at Public Knowledge and served as Policy Counsel at the U.S House Committee for Education and Labor under Chairman Robert C. Scott. Bertram has testified in front of Congress, numerous federal agencies, as well as state and local legislatures and he received his J.D. from Howard University School of Law and his B.A. from Haverford College.
