Codrut Georgian Artene is a Team Lead in Bitdefender’s Innovation & Technology department, based in Iasi, Romania. He leads a team of developers and security analysts focused on large-scale threat detection and scam web page identification. He joined Bitdefender in 2016 as a software developer and worked as a software engineer before stepping into his current leadership role in 2024, bringing more than a decade of engineering experience at the company. Codrut is also a PhD student and teaching assistant at the Gheorghe Asachi Technical University of Iasi, where his research focuses on applications of artificial intelligence in web content filtering.
