Drew Hammill

Design Manager, Discovery Education

Drew is a Senior Instructional Design Manager for Discovery Education. He holds an M.A in Social Studies Education and a Masters in School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He began his career with a year of national volunteer service through AmeriCorps and then began working with students that experience behavioral and emotional disorders. Drew has served as a high school social studies teacher, school administer, and curriculum coordinator for K-12 Social Studies in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. While serving in these roles, he led professional development in areas of inquiry-based learning, literacy integration, and social-emotional learning.
