Lartease Tiffith is Senior Manager at Amazon where he leads the company’s policy work around privacy, security and other consumer protection issues. He regularly represents Amazon on these issues with the federal government and intergovernmental bodies. Prior to joining Amazon, Lartease served as Senior Counsel to Senator Kamala Harris and Counsel to Senator Dianne Feinstein, Ranking Member, on the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Before working in the Senate, Lartease practiced law at two international law firms (Kirkland & Ellis LLP and O’Melveny & Myers LLP) and the U.S. Department of Justice. He began his legal career as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Roger L. Gregory, Chief Judge, on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
In addition to his work with the Family Online Safety Institute, Lartease serves on the Advisory Board of the Future of Privacy Forum.
Lartease earned his B.A., J.D., and M.B.A. from Northwestern University.
