Lena De Geer

Senior Sustainability Development Lead, Telia Company

Lena works as Senior Sustainability Development Lead at Telia, the largest operator in the Nordic and Baltic regions. In her role, Lena focuses on developing sustainability strategies and driving positive impact across Telia’s business, including leading Telia’s social sustainability work with a focus on protecting and enabling young people online. Lena has 15 years’ experience in sustainability through roles such Head of Sustainability at Viaplay Group and Secretary General of the Network for Sustainable Business. In addition, Lena has worked at the UN Global Compact in New York and at the Swedish Embassy in Ankara, Turkey. Since 2015, Lena has been involved in Project Playground, a foundation that works to help vulnerable young people in South Africa and Sweden, and became a board member in 2020.
