Dr. Tracy Elizabeth

Dr. Tracy Elizabeth is the Senior Director of Trust & Safety Research at Nex, where she leads policy initiatives to support positive digital play for families. She joins Nex after holding youth and family safety roles at Netflix and TikTok and advising Meta, Microsoft, and other technology companies through her consultancy, Mediageist. Tracy began her career as a South Carolina public-school teacher.
Tracy is a developmental psychologist and prevention scientist with expertise in youth safety policy, age-appropriate design, artificial intelligence, content ratings, and digital wellbeing. She earned her masters and doctorate from Harvard University, where her research focused on child and adolescent development.
