Wifredo "Wifi" Fernández is the Head of US State & Local Public Policy at Twitter, where he leads advocacy and partnerships with state and local governments and attorneys general and manages a portfolio of federal issues ranging from child safety to Spanish language misinformation. He is the Co-Founder of The LAB Miami, a hub for startups, and helped launch entrepreneurship centers at Miami Dade College and Florida International University. Wifi is a former Teach For America corps member and has served on non-profit, municipal, and quasi-governmental boards in the areas of foster youth, parks and recreation, the arts, and education. He holds a law degree from the University of Miami School of Law, an M.A. in Teaching from American University, and B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania.
