FOSI Response to New York OAG Advanced Notice of Public Rulemaking

On September 30, 2024, FOSI filed comments with the Office of the New York State Attorney General in response to the Advanced Notice of Public Rulemaking (ANPR) for the New York SAFE for Kids Act.

In its comments, FOSI focuses on key online safety issues like verifiable parental consent, age assurance, and data privacy that the new law addresses. The Office of the New York State Attorney General sought public comments before it begins crafting its official guidance.
