Abby Rochman is the inaugural Online Safety Fellow at the Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI). She is also currently a Master’s student at Georgetown’s Communication, Culture & Technology program, where she is specializing in trust & safety in digital environments.
At FOSI, she is responsible for shaping the fellowship program and contributing her expertise to FOSI’s broader mission. Her academic and professional experience fuels her commitment to driving meaningful change in the online safety landscape.
Before joining FOSI, Abby worked as a User Experience Researcher at leading tech companies like Twitter (X) and Google. She also previously conducted strategic communications research for policy issues as a Research Analyst at the FrameWorks Institute. Her background in user experience and policy analysis informs her ability to craft actionable insights for safer online environments.
Abby studied International Affairs and Writing at Washington University in St. Louis.
