Since December 2011, Mr. Libertelli has served as Vice President, Global Public Policy at Netflix, Inc. His team is responsible for Netflix’s advocacy before government officials in Washington, Brasilia, Brussels or wherever regulators or legislators have questions about Netflix. Mr. Libertelli joined Netflix from Skype, where he managed the company's government relations programs in the U.S., Canada and Latin America. Prior to joining Skype in 2005, he served as Senior Legal Advisor to the Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission. Before that, he held several competition policy positions at the FCC and worked as an Associate at Dow, Lohnes & Albertson. Mr. Libertelli received his JD in Communications Law at from Boston University. Mr. Libertelli has spoken at a number of media and telecommunications industry conferences and has testified before legislatures and regulators in the United Stated, Europe, and Canada and throughout Asia. He has particular expertise in the law and economics of network interconnection and media law. Mr. Libertelli lives in Washington, DC and has two young sons.
