Marco joined Smith Micro in 2016 after the acquisition of iMobileMagic. He has been involved in the mobile products and services space throughout all his career in different technical, management and executive roles. Marco started his career in MobiComp where he played a key role in the company’s product development and innovation strategy, helping the company grow and expand internationally. After MobiComp’s acquisition by Microsoft in 2008, he took on the role of Principal Group Program Manager helping deliver several high profile Microsoft mobile products and services. Marco left Microsoft in 2011 to start and lead iMobileMagic as its co-founder and CEO. He is a graduate of the Systems and Informatics Engineering degree at the Universidade do Minho in Braga, Portugal.
