Salome Apkhazishvili is a journalist and communications scholar from the country of Georgia. She has received her MA in Communications from the University of Southern Indiana (’20). Her master thesis explored the role of the smartphone in parent-child collaboration and on building media literacy skills. Ms. Apkhazishvili is a recipient of Fulbright scholarship for her graduate studies in the USA. Her interest in media literacy cuts across journalism and education.
