Shannon Vyvijal, MPP (she/her) is the Associate Communications Manager at the Foundation for Social Connection, where she elevates the organization’s role as a leader in advancing social connection and igniting a national shift in the narrative around social isolation and loneliness. Her strategic efforts have secured placements in media outlets such as POLITICO, NPR, PBS NewsHour, Bon Appétit, The Cut, and more, raising awareness of evidence-based strategies and uplifting stories of inspiring community efforts to strengthen connection. Prior to this role, she served as a Fellow with the Foundation, assisting in the development of their SOCIAL Framework research reports which explore how to foster connection in every sector of society, at every level of influence, and across the lifespan.
